Thank you for contacting us.
In order to fully troubleshoot this issue, please provide ALL of the following:
Please provide the requested MTR report so that our team may analyze the network conditions along the route between your VPS and local computer.
- MTR (or WinMTR) Reports in BOTH directions (to/from <Server IP>)
- Your source IP address
- Destination IP address (If not <Server IP>)
We use MTR reports to troubleshoot network issues, instead of a normal traceroute, because MTR pings all "hops" (any server, computer, or network device) between your local computer and the remote server. It will show the entire route that traffic takes, as well as the quality of the connection at each hop in the route. We will then be able to pinpoint where along the route there may be an issue.
Most Linux systems already have MTR installed, and it can be run from the command line. If you're using Windows, you can download a version of MTR at https://sourceforge.net/projects/winmtr/files/latest/download and install it on your computer.
Additionally, please inform us if this is the first time you've experienced this issue, if you are seeing it during only certain times of the day, and any other details you believe may be relevant.
Ping charts will not show the location along the route where a network issue has occurred.
Please generate both MTR reports and reply with the result as plaintext in your response, or attached as a screenshot in PNG or JPG format.
For assistance with generating the reports see our documentation here: https://www.vultr.com/docs/how-to-send-an-mtr-report-to-support/?ref=6813695
Let us know if you have questions regarding this procedure.

I don't understand why you need mtr? It's an amd problem
There is no problem using the intel kvm virtualized model
Use the amd kvm virtualized model network io bad.

Hello,
Thanks for the screenshots. The reason we're asking for MTR is because AMD and Intel hosts are different hardware nodes and, as a result, we're interested in knowing the route that your packets are taking in both directions. If you decide to spin up AMD instances in the future, please open another ticket if you have issues so we can investigate them further.
